Clermont County Commissioners Ed Humphrey, Bob Proud, and Scott Croswell welcome you to one of the fastest growing counties in the state of Ohio. Recognizing its continued growth prospects, Clermont County is actively working to ensure this community of 197,544 is a desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.
Over the years, strong partnerships have been formed to tackle such issues as economic development, public safety, workforce development, and welfare reform.
The Board of County Commissioners prepares and administers the overall county budget, is the county's contracting authority, develops and adopts policies for the administration of county services. Commissioners implement laws and rules put forth by state agencies and the legislature.
Your Commissioners are committed to maintaining an open and transparent government. The Commissioners hold regular sessions on most Mondays and Wednesdays at 1 p.m.; the fourth Monday of the month, the session will be moved to 7 p.m. Regular sessions of the Board are held in the third floor session room of the Clermont County Administration Building, 101 E. Main Street in Batavia, Ohio.
